OF OUR FOUNDERS: A PILGRIMAGE
TO LE PUY, FRANCE
Each June, members of the Mount Saint
Mary’s University community participate in
a pilgrimage to explore the mission and history
of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet.
President Ann McElaney-Johnson leads this
meaningful journey through France that
culminates in visiting the home of Mother
St. John Fontbonne, the first Superior General
of the CSJs. Mount Saint Mary’s owns this
historic home, which is a retreat center for
students, faculty and staff.
